Terms & Conditions for Users – Wans Platform

Welcome to Wans Platform and Application. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the platform or creating an account. By using the platform, you acknowledge and fully agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1) Platform Definition & Services
Wans is a digital mental health platform founded and managed by Dr. Milad Khalifa. The platform operates as an electronic intermediary that organizes and facilitates access to mental health support and therapy services provided by independent professionals.
Dr. Milad Khalifa is a psychiatrist holding a Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Neurology from Ain Shams University, a holder of the Egyptian Fellowship in Psychiatry, and licensed to practice medicine in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Services may include:

Psychological therapy sessions

Mental health consultations and support
-
Coaching and personal development services
-
Educational and awareness content
-
Live sessions and other interactive services
2) Acceptance of Terms
By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Wans reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
3) Account Registration
To use the platform, users must:

Be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent.

Provide accurate and updated information.

Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Users are fully responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts.
4) Nature of Service
Wans Platform provides an electronic means of communication between users and independent professionals. The platform itself does not provide direct medical diagnosis or independent medical treatment.
Each therapist or specialist bears full professional responsibility for their diagnoses, recommendations, and therapeutic decisions.
5) Online Mental Health Sessions
Users acknowledge and agree to receive mental health support and therapy services remotely through electronic communication methods available on the platform.
Users also understand that online sessions may differ from in-person sessions and may occasionally be affected by technical issues beyond the platform’s control, including internet connectivity problems or temporary technical interruptions.
6) Emergency Situations
The platform is not intended for psychiatric emergencies, crisis situations, self-harm cases, or suicidal thoughts.
In emergency situations, users must immediately contact emergency services or the nearest qualified medical authority.
7) Booking & Payments
Certain services may require payment for sessions, subscriptions, or premium content. Payments are processed through approved payment service providers.
The platform reserves the right to modify pricing or promotional offers in the future without affecting previously confirmed bookings.
8) Cancellation & Refund Policy

Users may cancel a session at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund.

Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before the session are eligible for a 50% refund.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or after the session has started.

If the user is more than 15 minutes late, the therapist may consider the session canceled without refund.
9) Prohibited Conduct
Users are prohibited from:

Engaging in illegal activities

Abuse, harassment, or threats
-
Impersonation
-
Violating the privacy of others
-
Recording or sharing sessions without permission
-
Hacking, disrupting, or interfering with the platform
The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.
10) Confidentiality & Privacy
Wans respects users’ privacy and strives to protect personal and health-related information according to applicable policies and regulations.
Recording or publishing any session or private content without prior written consent from all parties is strictly prohibited.
11) Coaching Services
Coaching and personal support services provided through the platform are intended for personal development and non-clinical support purposes only and are not a substitute for psychological or medical treatment.
Coaches are not permitted to provide psychiatric or medical diagnoses or prescribe medications.
12) Limitation of Liability
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Wans Platform does not guarantee specific therapeutic outcomes, as treatment responses may vary from person to person.
The platform shall not be liable for:

Technical failures

Actions of users or therapists

Indirect or consequential damages

Services provided by third parties
13) Intellectual Property
All rights related to the platform, its content, branding, and design are owned by Wans Platform. Copying, reproducing, or reusing any part of the platform without prior written permission is prohibited.
14) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt shall have jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
